HOLIDAYS.

On Saturday we're off for a short break to West Cornwall. I was going to say for a late Summer
break but things are looking a bit Autumnul at the moment. Once again it hasnt been a great
Summer and all the weather media predictions back in Spring were as usual way off mark.
Sales of garden and barbecue equipment must be going down the pan. I dont think we've had
a one or two week heatwave for at least three years. And for anyone that doesn't like it hot or
cold during the Summer months then the U.K must be the perfect climate.
I dont think I'm ready for the Autumn/Winter. Now I know how the Swede's feel at this time
of the year.

So for now I leave you with a whole page of new posts. Hope to be back soon.

Boys Being Girls And Girls Being Boys!

Here's an amazing tumblr with some very visually challenging images of androgyny.
When looking over it's archives I'm sometimes not sure what exactly I'm looking at.
As the tumblr owner says here 'I think my tumblr makes people question their
sexuality.'  Included in one of todays postings there's an interesting gif of Anatoly
Elgert. Ukraine's answer to Andrej Pejic.

BIRON'S ASIAN BEAUTIES

San Francisco photographer Biron really has a good eye for beautiful Asian guys, particularly ripped and muscular one's. In these pictures he recently sent me we can see just a few amazing guys from his local Dore and Folsom Street Fairs where lots of guys get together in some very daring outfits.
Although London might have just a couple of main outdoor gay events including the now popular Naked Bike Ride, San Franciscans do seem lucky in that they regularly seem to put on more Summertime gay events, and you can be sure that photographer Biron will be there as his many galleries testify. And I'm hoping soon to put up more of his work.

The Garden... End Result!

ABOVE... THE GARDEN BEFORE (AUGUST 2011)

BELOW... THE GARDEN AFTER 4 WEEKS
OF TIDYING UP
(PICTURE TAKEN LAST THURS EVENING 15th SEPT)

Well it really is hard to convey in a picture just how much work was carried out in order
to get the garden back into shape. With all the cutting back and mowing the unmanagable
lawn there wasn't really any time for me to sit in the garden and enjoy it, well at least not
until the final evening last Friday. In the top 'before' picture you cant even see the central
island. So at least it's starting to get back into shape. But in 2002 when I first took
temporary ownership it was in a worse state. The trees on the left side met up in the
middle of the lawn with the trees on the right side. I guess these things happen when
you leave nature to itself.
Below are a few archive pictures from 2008 when the garden looked it's best. I can only
hope that soon some colour will come back into the lawn.

Charlie's Tumblr

Here's a tumblr I stumbled upon the other day where it's author is surely the main attraction.
Charlie is a 16 year old gay boy from Liverpool UK and every now and then he posts pictures up of himself.
And why not. He is indeed very beautiful and he loves his big shoes.
Liverpool boys have quite an appealing and very distinctive accent, something you dont
hear very much in London. Although my favourite Brit accent would have to be the Manchester accent,
which reminds me I must catch up on Shameless on Channel 4. Must see what Elliott Tittensor is
getting up to these days.

The Sitter, Not The Artist - Part 2

I was pleased to hear from London photographer Andrea Vecchiato this week. He tells me that he's preparing for his new photo exhibition which takes place at London's Soho Gallery on the 1st of December. The show titled 'The Sitter, Not The Artist-Part 2'  is a follow up to last years exhibition which featured male models of varying ages. And so this years show will feature female models. As yet we're not to know which models will feature in the new show, but Andrea did tell me that he'll be announcing shortly on his twitter page HERE, which well known celebrities and models will be appearing in the new exhibition.

This new charity exhibition is being put on to help raise awareness and funds for The National Autistic Society. Their website can be found HERE.

Below are two sneek peek images that Andrea sent me of tattooed beauty Xara Xavier.
Further down below is an out-take image featuring Oliver Cheshire from last years exhibition.

Jay Park... Abandoned

Here's a nifty little tune from Korea's former prodical son Jay Park. Although it starts
off in a slower R&B beat it seems to come alive when it changes into a dance beat.
The track is taken from Jay's mini album 'Take A Deeper Look' released earlier this year.

JongHyun.... Baby Baby

JONGHYUN    SHINEE

Here's a video I've been on the lookout for sometime. It features frontman Jonghyun from K-Pop favourites Shinee doing what he does best. And he certainly does have the voice when belting out a love song. And with the help of sound technology he can really throw out those notes with gutso. You can see that the other boyband members in the background are impressed although Taemin and Onew seem to be showing it in a mischevious way to the annoyance of Minho.

Further down below is a video clip from Asia's MBC Morning News documenting Shinee's recent visit to the famous London Abbey Road Studios where huge crowds were waiting for them. It seems that Shinee are the first K-Pop act to perform at Abbey Road. Strangely enough the whole chaotic episode in North London barely got a mention in the British media. It was mostly covered by the Asian press and tv people. I would have posted up one of the many youtube fancams from the event but because of the huge crowds and the chaos none of them are really watchable.

Late Summer Holiday Approaching.

Okay so I removed that last post and new video by Ronan Parke. It totally bombed big time.
Perhaps Ronan just isn't Beauty Hunter material. Who knows. He seems to have been hijacked and
adopted by certain other blogs where he's probably more suited. But thanks for that single comment
anyway Jason. So you see I dont always get it right.

So to console my current online blues I returned the garden keys to my  neighbours who have
been away on holiday in Europe over the last month. They let me have use of the garden which
had gotten into a bad state over the last two years.
They were thrilled with all the work I've been doing this last 4 weeks. So the garden I used to
part own over two years ago is now looking back at it's best just like it did when I regularly
posted up pictures of it on my first blog. And the most popular pictures were of the central
island on the lawn where I used to light up lots of lanterns and jars with candles and lights.
The garden light display for Halloween 2008 was huge and way over the top with dozens of
lit pumpkins, lamps, lights and candles. It looked like Las Vegas on the lawn.

So on Thursday evening I set up the candles and lights again just one more time (picture below).
There's nothing like being out in the garden on a warm Summer evening as the light is falling.
It heightens all your senses particularly with all the lights and candles flickering away like a big
open outdoor fire.

Next Saturday (24th) we're off to West Cornwall for a late Summer Holiday Break

Festival Faces

This last weekend saw in this year's Mayor's Thames Festival, hence a chance to take lots
of pictures. This year there was quite a Korean presence with an allotted space given over
to all things Korean including Folk music, Comedy, Film, Dance, plus of course a spectacular
show put on by the Korean Taekwondo Demonstration Team.
On Saturday night A K-Pop night was held at the Festival. There were rumours that one
of the big K-Pop bands would show up. But no such luck. Instead a DJ spun some K-Pop
tunes. Apparently K-Pop nights are now being regularly held in London so there seems
to be a demand for it. Surely it cant be long before it finally reaches our shores when some
of the popular bands finally add the UK into their European or world tours.

Above and below are pictures of a couple of lads waiting for the off to start the evening
festival procession. I hope to be able to put lots more pictures up soon.

Jordan Barrett... It Just Gets Better!

There's always a sense of anticipation when waiting to see the amazing Jordan Barrett
appear in a new picture editorial. Jordan the 16 year old Australian beauty can be seen
alongside Nicole Leybourne in a recent editorial titled 'Love Is Not Dead.'
Both models are signed with RED ELEVEN. More images from the shoot can be seen
on the Red Eleven tumblr/blog HERE.
Having looked over this blog's statistics earlier today I couldn't help noticing that Jordan
was the most searched for model today, and has been for the last few weeks.

At the bottom of this post is a link to a vimeo video where we finally get to see and hear
Jordan. The video was edited and posted up by Jake Campbell.

Talking Of Tree Stumps And Shrubbery...

SEBASTIAN SAUVE
BY SAVERIO CARDIA

Upon first seeing this recent new image of Sebastian Sauve, a model I seem to be slowly warming to, I had to ask
the question just what is it that Sebastian might be modelling here. As it turns out he's sporting a new fragrance by
Marc Jacobs.
The image was captured by photographer Saverio Cardia for unFLOP Magazine. So it's true, male models are
indeed the new porn stars.

Girls Will Be Boys

Here's an amazing tumblr where practically every image is the personification of androgyny.
Just looking over it's archives had me spellbound for quite a while. In fact by clicking on to
a tumblr's archive it's actually a good way of seeing what it has to offer.
Some of the models featured here are Mimmi Soderstrom (top) Anastasia Gorodilova (2nd)
Jade Jackson (3rd down) and the amazing Stella Maxwell (bottom 3 pictures).
