I seem to be warming to the beauty of Tomonari model and ever popular ulzzang Jun. And I thought it wouldn't be too long before someone created a tumblr dedicated to him featuring lots of images from the pages of Tomonari, although clearly most have been altered to black & white images. I shouldn't think you'll see any black & white pictures at Tomonari as they're in the buisness of selling clothes. GIL FROM TOMONARI Looks like just as I predicted Gil the long haired beauty and best pal of Jun has had the chop with a new shorter hair cut. He even seems oddly pleased with it. He posted the below picture on his Facebook Page last week. Cant say I approve. I always thought that his long mane of hair (as above) was his shining glory. Asian boys do seem to tire of keeping the same hair style/length for too long even though it might be their best look. Lets hope it wont take too long for Gil to get it back to the longer style that suits him best. |

Kate, It would be interesting to see Jun with longer hair.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if we all style our own hair on our people preferences.
Although he looks femmy perhaps he favours other boys with that
similar boyish haircut. He does have the face and eyes that must
turn heads in the street.
Wasn't sure what to think about Darell. He has those instantly
recognizable Indonesian features, as beautiful as they are, but
just travel slightly more north of Asia... Thai, Burma, Philippines,
Japan and Korea, and I find thats where the best of oriental beauty
can be found. Sometimes I love guessing where Asians (that live here
in London) are from. Hong Kong boys can be incredibly pale skinned
looking where as Northern Thai's and Burmese boys can be much darker
skinned (my favourite...which is frowned upon in Southern Thai provinces).
Loved your pictures of Torkel Rogstad. He's sensational. The hair is
amazing. I had a sneeky look at his Picasa family album. Looks like
he grew up with the long hair. Also they're the only pics where he smiles.
We know how uncool it is to smile in Fashion editorials.

I love Torkel, and his hair (!), but I'm not sure about his mouth, there's something weird in it. And on photos when he usually opens it slightly, he looks like a fish... That sounded bad, hahaha, but I like him, just not all of his pictures are good. I didn't see those family pictures, must find them... maybe I'd be more convinced to his mouth after that ;D
ReplyDeleteYes, Darell's face looks really Indonesian. I love his bone structure and hair. He's also a very nice person, and this fact adds a few points to my liking for him...
Many Koreans look very alike in my eyes, and sometimes I have problems with matching names to faces...
Thailand... I guees this is my favorite country when it comes to beautiful people, gender borders are almost completely blurred... Living in multicultural London must be really cool, here I don't meet many Asians, and even if they're almost all from China...
