Jordan

Gold Coast beauty Jordan Barrett has emerged in some fairly recent new images by Australian born photographer Georges Antoni.
The pictures below are from an editorial titled 'The Young Ones' for the Aussie mens style journal Manuscript.
And looking at some of the very latest images of Jordan it sadly looks like he's succumbed to pressure from stylists who think they know best by giving Jordan a complete hair make-over with a much shorter style, taking away his shining glory, that beautiful blonde surfers mop.
Some of those new images can be seen HERE on his EMG Models updated portfolio.
Imagine the cries of outrage if something similar were to happen to Andrej Pejic. You almost get the feeling that our young surf dude Jordan had no say in the matter. We live in hope that it will soon grow out again.

Jubilee Celebrations Approaching!

HAMPSTEAD HEATH LATE SATURDAY AFTERNOON

Next weekend sees the start of the Royal Jubilee Celebrations which marks Her Maj The Queen's 60 years on the throne as they say.
Jubilee Day itself will be on Tuesday 5th June. And leading up to it will be all sorts of events, concerts and Street Parties around the country. We've even been given an extra Bank Holiday for that Tuesday making it a long weekend.

And yet strangely I find myself actually looking forward to it as we'll be having a big local event near where I live. And lets face it we dont often get the chance to celebrate being English. We are after all a country that over the past few years has been strangled by political correctness. And it's always been a mystery to me how so many people of a non English background get to run our local Councils which in effect sets all the rules of the land.

There's been one ongoing story of a Muslim Councillor from Tower Hamlets who wants to ban the amateur strip night at the famous gay London Pub The White Swan. How dare they!
And during the last Football World Cup one local potty Council banned all refuse trucks (Waste disposal lorries) from flying the English Flag on their vehicles.

But for now all the shops are selling Union Jack cups and plates as well as Jubilee cakes and cupcakes and many other souveniers. So I'm hoping to make a big table display in true patriotic style. Will try and post up a picture of it near the time. The tablecloth alone will be a giant Union Jack flag.

Looking at Saturday's Daily Express I had to laugh at it's slightly over optimistic headlines where it said that we Brits will spend billions during the coming Summer events, so much so that it will virtually pull us out of our current recession. There's optimism for you.

Most of Britain has been tasting a mini heatwave this last week.  But the question is will it last for the big Jubilee weekend?

EUROVISION GIVES TV VIEWERS
THE HUMP!

Well this is what our Monday morning newspaper headlines said.  And the mystery is how on earth did a long forgotten 76 year old crooner from the 1970's get to represent The UK in this year's Eurovision Song Contest on Saturday night?
Of course being a great music lover you might ask why I even bother to watch this annual but painful ritual that is The Eurovision. Well to me it's pure car crash tv and I just like to confirm that each year it's just as shite as it was the year before. I've never understood why gay boys have such an obssession for it.
Our pathetic song entry by Engelbert Humperdinck finished one but last. And critics of the Eurovision have called for The UK to pull out of the competition after suffering one of it's worst results, which I fully agree with. After all we've nothing more to prove. Along with The U.S we gave the world the very best of Pop culture.

But what I'd like to know is who was the dildo that let Engelbert represent us? In previous years there would be a qualifying competition where pop bands would fight it out for the honour of representing us.
Of course the voting stage at the end of the performances has become very political with most countries voting for their near neighbours, particularly with the now countless countries that used to be part of Russia making it seem like some private party. And unless Western European countries put out a good song they'll generally be ignored by the Eastern European countries. Brit viewers haven't failed to notice this year on year. It's now believed to be the reason that the BBC's Terry Wogan quit the show.
But his replacement Graham Norton did add a bit of light relief with his constant bitchy remarks but he hardly mentioned throughout the voting stages that The UK was at the bottom of the voting chart. Sparing us the humiliation I suppose.
Apparently Engelbert was wearing a special lucky charm medallion medal given to him by Elvis Presley. A lot of good that did. Some even asked him why he would even perform in a country like Azerbaijan, a country with an appalling record on human rights. But he just said that he didn't know enough about the politics of the area. Well Hump, you should have done your homework before you went out there.

And the bad news is that 71 year old 'Confirmed Bachelor Boy' and former pop legend Sir Cliff Richard has been approached to represent us next year in 2013.
Cliff,  dont do it unless you also want to face a similar humiliation.

COLE!

Well at long last we finally have a picture of Cole Mohr to shout about. And what a spectacular picture it is. This new image was captured by New York photographer Jens Ingvarsson. And top model Cole is looking fine and fit here.

And I often find it hard to explain Cole's boyish appeal. Just looking at pictures of when he was a boy you can clearly see that he's hardly changed where as many people experience great physical changes from ages 10 to 25.  He's one of the lucky few.  He also seems to have added a few more tattoos on that torso that was once a blank canvas. Where will it end.

OMG! Hilarious. Thanks to neil for this.

Tom The Birthday Boy

Yesterday was a busy day for top British Diver and Birthday boy Tom Daley, Britain's big medal hope for the up and coming London Olympics. Having just returned from Eindhoven over the weekend after his Gold medal success, Tom found himself busy for the whole of yesterday on a media frenzy visiting tv studios for interviews even appearing on Monday night's BBC1 show 'The One Show.'
But the big event took place at Waterstones Book Store in Central London where Tom promoted his new autobiographical book titled 'My Story' where Tom even stripped down to his speedo's for a crowd of hungry photographers.
Doubtless lots of the pictures will appear in our newspapers later this morning.

If it wasn't for the fact that Tom was busy in Eindhoven during last week then I'm sure he would have been part of the Olympic Torch Relay that passed his hometown in Plymouth over the weekend.
And whats amazing about this Olympic Torch Relay run is that more people than expected are turning out to line the streets and cheer on the torch bearers. Over the last couple of days the Counties of Cornwall and Devon have been in one big party mood which seems to be sending a badly needed feelgood factor right around the country. For most Brits this might be a one off occasion which is why everyone wants to be part of it.
Later tonight the Torch Relay which covers the whole of the UK, ends in Bristol where I'm sure they're already getting ready to party.

Below is a short video of our Tom talking about his new book.

Above are all three medal winners at last weekend's European Diving Championhips in Eindhoven with Tom in the middle next to Gleb Galperin. But hang on a minute. Who's the diver on the left of the picture? It is of course the Russian Victor Minibaev. And around 2006 when he was about 15 he was all over the internet. His pictures were everywhere. He seemed to be the most photographed speedo boy on the web. Now aged 20 he's a top rated diver and looks like a possible medal winner in the coming London Olympics.

Below are just a few of those very familiar pictures of Victor.
