Who would have thought that the above image is in fact the interior of
McDonalds based in Central Station in Copenhagen. It's one of several
images that artist and photographer Ian David Baker posted up on his
tumblr MISTERRCREATIVE after his recent visit to the Danish Capital.
Ian has in fact had lots of his work published and much of it has recently
been documented in a pdf catalogue via the safe hands of book publisher
Callum James. As well as several black & white images on show there's also
an interesting questionnaire between publisher and Ian the author who
reflects on those heady days going back to the 1980's before the age of
digital photography. A time when camera film came in rolls available from
photo shops and chemists.
The black & white images in the catalogue have a timeless quality and I
particularly like the ones taken of the youths in Carnaby Street.
To see much of this catalogue of work on pdf click below. Ian also had
much of his work published in 1993 in a book titled 'Younger Days.'
